Jill Finlay

Jill replied to an ad we placed on shootingpeople.com for extras who would make the nightclub look full in Blood Relative. However, realizing we needed a live vocalist for the club at very short notice, Jill willingly came back to the second block of shooting to perform the role. We also gave her some important scenes to make the vocalist a more fleshed out character. Jill brought 'Dawn' to life better than we could have imagined, although the director had some surprises in store which she was very good about.
Jill also recorded three tracks for the soundtrack, which she learned in a very short amount of time.
'That's one of the strangest days I've ever had,' she said on the final day of shooting.
Jill has clear talent, and gets on well with people. She has since made a further three films with us. She is also currently writing her own script for a film project.
