Rachel Powell

Rachel was one of the six students to attend the drama workshop holiday in France in 2002 run by NextStageDrama. She was just 15 at the time and still developing as a performer and person. Having moved to London from Cornwall, Rachel was keen to join her new friends in Blood Relative, and several other films, proving to be a strong but deceptive talent. Her first love though is singing and her voice can be heard on the title track for Blood Relative, plus another track on the soundtrack. Having completed a diploma course in singing and music, Rachel has turned a collection of songs she wrote into a scintillating album called, Intoxicating, inspired by her life up till now. The recordings for this were also remixed on a separate album, with darker dance music, called Solar. Rachel is also in the process of writing her first film.
