Special Projects
It's probably no secret that we started out initially as a group of six very different creative people who met on a themed holiday in the south of France in 2002. The theme of this holiday was the BBC TV Series Doctor Who, and we were... well, five of us were there because of being big fans of this, longish story. Anyway, it seemed inevitable that we would finally pay our homage to the show in a special project. It was almost as a reward for having worked so hard, come so far, but also as a way of doing something extra good. One lunchtime, Rob scribbled down the script, which for reasons of his own he made follow certain criteria such as locations we could easily access, don't include consol room scenes, don't use character names (no really, check for yourself!). And so he propositioned Neil Oseman, the talented Director the gang met when he played cameraman on Blood Relative, to direct. And so, over four days, lots of travelling, two camera/sound teams, sore feet, frantic replacements, injury, battle and thankfully mostly good weather, Possibilities was born. The Icing on the cake was a stunning soundtrack created by Big Finish Dalek Supreme sound designer, Steve Foxon. In addition to this the now extended gang recorded a very silly Doctor Who themed 'comedy' sketch film and some other pieces, and all this is absolutely free to watch. Although, we do mention one small thing, as this was initially intended as a good deed, we have given viewers the option of donating to one of two causes close to our hearts. We hope you enjoy what we have put together as much as we enjoyed making it, because despite all the graft, it was amazing fun to film a short Doctor Who film around London in the autumn of 2004...
